This past week was busy for smart home users as Eve launched a new motion sensor, Thread 1.3.0 was released, and we defended HomeKit Secure Video on the latest HomeKit Insider podcast.
HomeKit InsiderLast Thursday, Eve introduced its second-generation Eve Motion detector for HomeKit. It features a newly designed body and adds water resistance and a light sensor. Most importantly, it now communicates over Thread which should increase the reliability of triggering automations.
