Apple’s iOS 16 contains numerous updates to Messages, Wallet, and notably, the ability to customize the iPhone lock screen. In the current beta, custom widgets on the lock screen are iPhone only, though, and the iPad lock screen has yet to gain the same features.There are, though, many features that Apple failed to mention at the WWDC keynote, including the ability to finally use Face ID on iPhone in landscape mode. Also only alluded to was how deleted Messages threads are placed in a recently deleted area for 30 days, and the ability to edit or undo iMessages is limited to 15 minutes after being sent.
