After a long wait, the stable OxygenOS 12 update for the OnePlus 9RT is now going live for users. As per reports, the OxygenOS 12 stable update for the OnePlus 9RT is available as software version C.04. 

This OxygenOS update is quite hefty at 5GB in size, and not only brings Android 12, but also includes some interesting new features and performance enhancements to improve end user experience. Further, the release also bumps the Android security patch level to July 2022.

Among other features, the new OxygenOS update on the OnePlus 9RT brings optimized desktop icons with improved textures, by using a design inspired by brand-new materials and uniting lights and layers. There are also newly supported three adjustable levels for dark mode, bringing a more personalized and comfortable user experience. Apart from this, there is now optimisation for the display of camera modes on the menu bar of the OnePlus 9RT. Plus, the experience of zooming in or out when shooting videos with the rear camera has been optimised in this OxygenOS update. 

Additionally, the OnePlus 9RT will now optimise the gaming experience in team fight scenes, and add the HyperBoost end-to-end frame rate stabilizer, thanks to the new OxygenOS update. In the Gallery app, there will now be support for switching between different layouts with a two-finger pinch gesture, intelligently recognizing the best-quality pictures, and cropping the thumbnail based on the content, making the gallery layout more pleasing

The OnePlus 9RT comes with a 6.62-inch 1080p AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus chip. The 9RT has three cameras on the back with a 50MP main, 16MP ultra-wide-angle, and another 2MP macro sensor. On the front, the 9RT has a 16MP selfie camera. Completing the package is a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast charging.
