In what came as a surprise to many, PlayStation has revealed the God of War: Ragnarok release date. After 2018’s God of War reboot knocked everyone’s socks off, the sequel has naturally been one of the most highly anticipated games since. After months of being delayed and player anticipation going through the roof, we now know that the God of War: Ragnarok release date will be November 9, 2022. The release date was revealed alongside a trailer featuring a quick look at Kratos and Atreus from the new game.

From the trailer, we get to see some of the different types of enemies Kratos and Atreus will face in the upcoming title. The duo will face off against hordes of flame-covered enemies, and then cool off as they face frost-covered enemies. At the end of the trailer, we see a massive wolf, which we can safely assume is Fenrir considering the game’s Nordic mythology influence.

God of War: Ragnarok will be available for pre-order starting July 15, 2022. The pre-order will include bonuses which include cosmetic items for both Kratos and Atreus – Kratos Risen Snow Armor and the Atreus Risen Snow Tunic.
